Louise M. (Sammons) García, age 77, born in Cimarron, NM and a resident of Rio Rancho, NM, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at home with her family at her side.
Louise is survived by her husband of fifty-seven years, Jerry García, children, Jim García and his wife, Annette, Beverly Lucero and her husband, Ernie, Deborah Cooley and Janet Romero and her husband, Nol, grandchildren, Michelle, Monique and her husband, Aaron, Jamie and her husband, Gene, Adam and Chelsea, great-grandchildren, Elijah, Jeremiah and Uriah, sisters, Mabel Baca, Frances García and her husband, Rudy and Judy Gallegos, many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Louise was preceded in death by her grandson, Nicolas Cooley, brother, Gibb Sammons and sister, Elsie Romero.
Visitation will be on Friday, May 29, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd., Rio Rancho, NM with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park, Rio Rancho, NM.
