September 25-- Ms. Anita Morris, age 65, of Higgston, died Thursday, September 24, 2015 in the Community Hospice in Vidalia, after an extended illness.
She was a native of Montgomery County, and lived in Higgston all of her life. She worked at Smith Street Baptist Church Daycare for many years, Piggly Wiggly in Vidalia for eight years, and was the deli manager at Bi-Lo in Vidalia for thirteen years. She was a member of the Higgston Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by her father, Julian Edgar Morris.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, September 27th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Clarence Best and Reverend Mark Jones officiating.
Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
