MRS. LYDIA JOURNAY
WHEATFIELD, Nov. 17. -- Mrs. Lydia (Sands) Journay, 71, formerly a nurse, died Tuesday in her home at Portland following an operation performed in a Chicago hospital a month ago. Born at Tefft, she lived there until five years ago when she and her husband, William Journay, went to Portland to live. She received nurse's training at the Layfayette Home hospital.
Survivors are a son and a daughter, Oscar Ahlemeier and Mrs. Faye Dodrill, Tefft; a brother, Charles Sands, Rensselaer, and a niece, Miss Mary Jane Sands, R.N., Chicago, whom she reared.
