The tombstone is incorrect. His last name was James. His first name is Bennett!

Bennett was born circa 1840; died in Civil War from "Inflammation of the Lungs". He served in Company G, 48th Regt., MO Infantry. He married his cousin Nancy H. James on Jun 05, 1861 in Ozark Co., MO. They had 2 children Oliver M., born Nov 22, 1862, and Byrah Ellen, born Dec 07, 1864, both in Ozark Co., MO. After his death, Nancy H. married John C. Houston on Jul 19, 1866 in Phelps Co., MO. Charles C. Bland became the guardian for Oliver and Byrah.

Died: Feb 23, 1865, buried Sec G 8514. Originally buried in Nashville, TN. (Stamped at the bottom of card) 61003607504

I was told there is no record of him in the Nashville National Cemt. He died in a Nashville hospital as a Civil war soldier. I can't find a grave for him elsewhere.
