Mary Jane Grosvenor
Daughter of Norman J & Ann D. Jones she was born in the town of Frankfort in Franklin Co. KY on Dec. 1st 1842.
Beloved wife of Civil War veteran James M. Grosvenor 1838-1917 They where married Aug. 7th 1860 in Davis Co. Iowa by Minister John Hunt. They had 9 children (Married daughters are listed under their married names)
Dora Mangold, Rosalie Woodward, Clara Vinton, William A. Grosvenor, Elmer E. Grosvenor, James W. Grosvenor, Elizabeth Olinger, Harry F. Grosvenor, Murnie Woodward.
They came to Idaho in the early 1900s and James listed his occupation as "Farmer" on his pension records. James died on Jan. 10th 1917 at the age of 78 years and was laid to rest in the Forest Cemetery. Mary would follow him on Aug. 7th 1931 at the age of 89 and was laid to rest next to James.
