Henry Lapp, 47, of Terry, passed away last Thursday in the VA hospital at Miles City. He had been in the hospital four years. Burial was in the American Legion section of the Terry Cemetery with full military honors at the graveside by the American Legion Post.
Mr Lapp was born July 21, 1917, in Hasting NE, the son of Mr and Mrs Frederick Lapp. He was baptized in the Lutheran faith and renewed this covenant in the rite of confirmation. He served in the US Army from 1941-1945 and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He was married at Melbourne, Victoria, Australia on June 12, 1942, to Grace Winifred Foreman of Caulfield, Australia.
Survivors, in addition to the widow, Grace, include two sons, Clive Henry and Douglas Roy, four daughters, Joyce Ann Lapp, Barbara Louise Lapp, Shirley Margaret Lapp and Patricia May Lapp, all of Terry. Seven brothers are Fred of Julesburg CO, Harold of Glendive, John of Fallon, Frank of Columbus ND, George and Willis of Terry, and Leland of Worland WY. There are five sisters, Mrs Omer Kizer of Julesburg, Mrs Henry Buxbaum of Glendive, Mrs Reynold Piche of Sidney, Mrs Fred Bach of Glendive and Mrs Harry Vogle of Las Vegas NV, and his father, Fred of Glendive.
