Dollie Kathleen Turner, 95, of Gladstone, Mo., formerly of Bonner Springs, died Tuesday, July 19, 2005, at the Woodline Healthcare Center in Gladstone, Mo. Funeral services were Saturday at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs with burial following in Oak Hill Cemetery in Butler, Mo. A visitation was prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society in memory of Mrs. Turner's daughter, Zella.
Mrs. Turner was born Jan. 31, 1910, in Butler, Mo. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Bonner Springs. She worked for many years at Nat Nast Manufacturing and later at Bonner Manufacturing, retiring in the early 1980s. Then she continued to enjoy sewing and loved watching her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Turner Sr., in 1997; a daughter, Zella Bair; and a son, Ernest Turner, Jr.
