Mrs. Jacob DeHaan died at her home at 506 East Second Street at 9:00 p.m. Sunday, May 11, 1924 aged 68 years, 1 month and 26 days. Her death was caused by diabetes and a complication of diseases.
She is survived by her husband, one son, Ben of Sioux City, and two daughters Janice at home and Carrie, now married and living in California. One brother, J.H. Soetens, lives in Pella.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at two o’clock at First reformed church. Interment was at Oakwood Cemetery.
