Joseph A. Langenderfer, 74, of Suder Avenue, died Friday in St. Vincent Hospital.
He was a letter carrier 35 years for the U. S. Postal Service, making deliveries most of that time in the St. Vincent Hospital area. He retired in 1965. He and his wife Ilo, also operated a produce stand at their home for more than 40 years.
Also surviving are his son, Charles; daughters, Mrs. Rose McShannie, Mrs. Lois Jakeway, and Mrs. Arlene Eisenbrandt, and brother, Clair.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in St. John's Church. The body will be in the Abele Mortuary after 22 p.m. Sunday.
