Clair J. Langenderfer, age 91 years, of Gould Rd., passed away Friday in the Fairview Manor Nursing Center. Clair was the widower of Rosella.
He was a machinist at the Baker Brothers Company for 50 years. Clair was a past Knights of Columbus #3122 member, a Pioneer of St. Catherine's Parish and its Holy Name Society and was the first usher of the church, serving from 1930 until 1975. He enjoyed woodworking in his home and made tables and chairs and a beautiful clock which was the focal point in his home.
Surviving are his daughters; Marilyn (Tony) Siravo, Lillian (Ken) Maben, and Althea (Dick) Bedard; also 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Blanchard Bros. Funeral Home, 1163 W. Sylvania Ave. at Lockwood, from 2-8 p.m. Sunday, where there will be a Rosary Service at 7:30 p.m. Celebration of his Mass will be Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Catherine's Church. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
