I am quite sure Isreal was not born in Knox COunty, Ohio or in Iowa as is stated n his death record. His family was from Hart Co, KY and had moved to Jasper Co, Iowa by 1850. For some reason the 1910 census said he was born in Ohio. Every other census from 1850-1900, including an Iowa State census states he was born in Kentucky. I think since the family moved to Iowa when Isreal was only an infant his son Raymond (the informant on the death record) must have thought his dad was born in Iowa.

I. D. Logsdon, 69 years old, was killed at Carthage when he was struck by a Carthage-Galena Street car. Logsdon, who was partly deaf, did not hear the car approaching. He was a contractor and had lived there thirty years.
