Adrain [Adrian] Lovelace, a resident of Rockton for the past 58 years, died at his home in the north part of town at five o'clock Wednesday afternoon. He was 79 years old.
Mr. Lovelace was born at Elkhorn Grove in Stephenson county on February 22, 1861. On September 25, 1889, he was married to Victoria G. Kincaid. To them were born three sons, Elewis who died in infancy, Dene [Dean] who died at the age of 8 and Howard who died when 25 years old. Mr. Lovelace was also preceded in death by his wife and a sister.
Surviving are two brothers, Willis P. Lovelace and Amasy A. Lovelace, both of Rockton, and a sister, Mrs. Wayne Woodburn of Rockford and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Methodist church at two o'clock Saturday afternoon with the Rev. Wilbur Hopkins officiating. Burial will be made in the Rockton cemetery.
