Graveside services were held at the Pioneer cemetery at Gervais June 13 following services in Portland for Sarah I Clarke, who died June 9. She is survived by a daughter, Ethel E. and two sons, Herbert F. and Harold Clarke and a grandson, Ralph H. Clarke.
Mrs. Clarke was born 91 years ago near Gervais, and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S.W. R. Jones, pioneers in this community. Mrs. Clarke was the last of her generation.
