She was born in Brava, Cape Verde, a daughter of the late Maria DaLomba Luz. She had been employed as a seamstress for Hospital Principal Du Senegal and then for Hope Webbing of Pawtucket for several years. Ana was a devoted member of the Seekonk Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses. Ana was a loving mother and is survived by four children, Yves DaCosta and his wife Ann Marie, Daniel DaCosta and his wife Elly, Jean DaCosta and his wife Liz and Elizabeth DaCosta Cunningham and her husband Joel, a sister, Eva LaChat, nine grandchildren, Chris, Stephan, Evan, Deanna, Courtney, Dante and Layla DaCosta, Evie and JD Cunningham. She was the mother of the late Elaina DaCosta.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, October 8th from 4 to 7pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln followed by a service at 7pm. Burial will be private.
