Stella Mae Boone, 91, of St. Albans, died Friday, May 3, 1996 at home. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of St. Albans for over 50 years, where she was also a member of the Cancer Circle. She was a retired licensed practical nurse from the CAMC Memorial Division. She volunteerd at St. Thomas Hospital for 40 years. She was a 70-year resident of St. Albans. Surviving: daughters, Helen Haverland of Cincinnati, Ohio, Clara Hall of Melbourne, Fla., Mary Wallace of Charleston; sons, Bill Boone of South Charleston, James E. Boone of Atlanta, Ga., Paul Boone of Hurricane, Rodger Boone of St. Albans; sisters, Tessie Hudnall of Handley, Maude Lowe of Montgomery; 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
