HURRICANE - James Edward Boone, 64, of Hurricane died Jan. 29, 1999, at home after a long illness.

He was a retired operating engineer for Local #132, a member of Dunbar Lodge 159, York Rite Mason and Beni Kedem Shrine. He was an Army veteran.

Surviving: wife, Becky Boone; daughter, LeAnne Boone of Tulare, Calif.; brothers, William F. of South Charleston, Paul L. of Hurricane, Roger A. of St. Albans; sisters, Helen Haverland of Cincinnati, Clara Louise Hall of Melbourne, Fla., Mary Ann Wallace of Charleston.

Service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Casdorph & Curry Funeral Home, St. Albans, with the Rev. Joseph Wolfe officiating. Burial with Masonic graveside rites conducted by Dunbar Lodge #159 will be in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans.
