the chapel of Walker Funeral
Home. Joe Elledge and Royce
Moore officiated. Burial was in
DeKalb Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Ellis died April 6 at
Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville.
A native of Dowelltown, he
was the son of the late William
Reps Ellis and Mattie Jane Ellis.
Surviving are his wife, Marie
Malone Ellis of Smithville; a son,
Michael Shane Ellis of
Smithville; daughters, Rhea Nell
Spencer of Goodlettsville,
Welteen Billings and Wanda
Burchfield of Smithville; step
daughters, Sharon Boyd of
Smithville and Gayle Carter of
Lebanon; seven grandchildren
and four great grandchildren.
