SP4 US ARMY∼Dalton Ancil Smith was born on March 27, 1936 in Sipe Springs, Texas to Edward Lloyd Smith and Ora (Armstrong) Smith. He served his country in the US Army and on July 3, 1959, he was married to Mary Ruth Ryan in Wellman, Texas. He had lived in Brown County since 1970 and had worked as a mechanic for the first 40 years of his life before becoming an appliance repairman in his later years. He enjoyed working with boats and cars but most of all, he loved riding around on his Gator with his puppy Bossy!
