Obituary in The Bienville Democrat April 19, 1973:

Funeral services for Mrs. Clotile Brice Cathey, 75, of Bossier City were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in The Bossier City Chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Officiating was the Rev. K.G. Rorie, pastor of the First United Methodist church of Bossier City. Burial was at Forest Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Cathey, a native of Arcadia, had lived in Bossier City for 50 years and was a member of First United Methodist Church there. She died in Bossier City General Hospital Friday after a long illness.

Survivors include one son, James L. Cathey of Bossier City; one daughter, Mrs. Harry L. Lawler of Shreveport; two brothers, Roy Brice of Arcadia and J.C. Brice of Shreveport; three sisters, Mrs. Ruby Edmondson of Arcadia, Mrs. Jeanne Tomme and Mrs. Veda Semple, both of Bossier City; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
