He was born July 22, 1915 in Grapeland, TX. He started his career as an electrician and worked his way up to Maintenance Supervisor for Exxon. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the battleship USS Tennessee. He was a member of the Baytown Elks Lodge, IBEW electrical union and a graduate of Lee College.
There will be a Memorial Gathering Tuesday, September 7, from 6-8 at Navarre Funeral Home.
Survivors include daughter Kareen Davison of Ft. Collins, Colorado, son Michael Victor Waddell of Baytown, brother M.T. Waddell, sister Leona Roten and grandsons Seth Massey, Ashley Davison and Kyle Davison.
