Braun Funeral Services Will Be Monday Morning

Funeral services for Dun P. Braun, 53, 400 East 19th, will be at 9 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial will be In Ihe church cemetery. The body will lie in state al Brock's Norlh Hill Chapel at Hays until the hour of the service.

Braun died Saturday morning in St. Anthony hospital at Hays following a lengthy illness. Braun was a carpenter and had been employed by Hunter Construction Co. for five years. He had resided in Hays since 1935.

Survivors are his widow, Katherine; three daughters, Mrs. Francis (Armella) Wiesner, Ellis; Mrs. Marvin (Mary Ann) Kuhn, Wichita; and Mrs. James (Alice) Perryman, Wichita; one son, Daniel Jr, Hays; his mother Mrs. John P. Braun, Hays; four sisters, Mrs. Steve (Lizzie) Stramel, Hays; Mrs. August. (Anna) Spies, Morland; Mrs. Richard F. (Mary) Leiker, Hays, and Mrs. William (Georgine) Gross, Hays; seven brothers, Ray P., Wendelin J., Clarence P., Ed, Peter and Ben Braun, all of Victoria, and Frank J. Braun, Hays; and 33 grandchildren.

Braun was predeceased by his father, John P. Braun, in November of 1962 and a sister, Mrs. Regina Spicss, in 1950.
