Survivors: sons, Marvin, Robert, both of Hays, Francis of McCracken; daughters, LaVerna Younger, Helen Werth, both of Hays; brothers, Clarence, Pete, Ben, all of Victoria; sisters, Elizabeth Stramel, Mary Leiker, Georgine Lynd, all of Hays, Anna Spies of Morland; 27 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren.

Memorial has been established with Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Hays Memorial Chapel.
