She married Richard Leiker on Aug. 16, 1938, in Victoria. He preceded her in death March 18, 2003.
She was a homemaker and florist. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Daughters of Isabella (50 year member).
Survivors include two sons, Dick Leiker and wife, Lydia, Nashville, Tenn., and Bob Leiker and wife, Jill, Weatherby Lake, Mo.; a daughter, Doris Ebersole and husband, Bob, Leawood; a brother, Peter Braun, Victoria; four grandchildren, Gina MacConnell, Ryan Leiker, Jason Leiker and Jarrett Leiker; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by seven brothers, Raymond, Frank, WJ "Honey," Daniel, Clarence, Edmund and Bernard Braun; and four sisters, Anna Spiess, Elizabeth Stramel, Regina Spiess and Georgine Gross Lynd.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church; burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today and from 12:30 to 1 p.m. Monday, both at Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 20th and Pine. A Daughters of Isabella rosary will be at 5:30 p.m. today, followed by a vigil service at 6 p.m., both at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to St. John's Of Hays Van Fund or St. Joseph Catholic Church in care of the funeral home.
