FUNERAL OF MRS. BERTHA BOERNER IS SET SUNDAY

The funeral of Mrs. Bertha Boerner, 68, of 315 West Washington Street, who died at 11 o'clock Friday morning at St. Elizabeth's Hospital will be held at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon from the Gaerdner and Company Funeral homes to Walnut Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Otto F. Pessel, pastor of St. Paul's Evangelical Church will officiate at the services.
Mrs. Boerner was a life long resident of St. Clair County, having been born in Mascoutah, September 13, 1860, a daughter of the late Adam and Catherine Yerk. She was the widow of Gustave Boerner.
She is survived by five children: Otto, William and Adolph Boerner of St. Louis; Mrs. Lucas Duerr of Belleville and Mrs. Christ Juenger of Marissa. Twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive.
She leaves the following brother and sisters: Henry J. Yerk, a former local Constable; Gustave, William and George Yerk and Mrs. Fred Dressler, all of Belleville and Mrs. Margaret Frey of Chicago.
