Hester D. Marion, 73, of Slaterville, died at home, Monday, Aug. 10, 1981. She was a native of the Slaterville area.

Mrs. Marion was a partner in the Marion Farms Dairy at Slaterville, a member of the Farm Bureau, and attended Brooktondale Baptist Church. She was the widow of Harold Marion who died in 1972.

She is survived by four sons, Wilford and Calvin Marion, both of Ithaca, and Douglas and Jerry Marion, both of Brooktondale; a daughter, Lucille Gladu of Slaterville; 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Harry and Harland Crispell, both of Slaterville, and Norris Crispell of Dryden; nieces, nephews, cousins, and an aunt, Laura Crispell of Caroline.

Services will be held at 11 am Thursday at Brooktondale Baptist Church with the Rev. John N. Garner officiating. Burial will be in Hayts Cemetery in Ithaca. There are no calling hours. Perkins Funeral Home of Dryden is in charge of arrangements.
