Lester was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Dorothy Cavins, and two brothers Sidney and Raymond Lawson.
Survivors include his wife Patsy Rowland Lawson; five children LaLisa Hoffman of Malvern, Carl Lawson, Jr. (Angie) of Almyra, Leslie Clark of Cabot, Joy Lawson of Almyra, and Joshua Lawson of Almyra; two brothers John and Ricky Lawson of Almyra; one sister Elsie Moss of Almyra; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren and one on the way.
