Raymond Harold Lawson, 77, of England, Arkansas formerly of Stuttgart, died March 29th, 2011 at Little Rock Veteran's Hospital. He was born August 10th, 1933 in Almyra, Arkansas and except for his military service was a lifelong resident of Arkansas. He worked for Riceland Foods for twenty-eight years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Dovie (Duncan) Lawson; his wife Dorothy Lawson; a sister, Dorothy Cavin, and several other close family members.
He is survived by his son Mike Lawson (Melinda) of North Little Rock; a daughter Melinda Case (Randy) of Gillette; a stepson: Charles Jenkins (Pearl) of Jacksonville; two step-daughters: Beverly Rhodes of England and Sharon Berryman (Steve) of Brandon, Mississippi; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one sister Elsie Moss of Almyra, four brothers: Sidney Lawson of Copperscove, Texas, John Lawson, Lester Lawson (Patricia) and Ricky Lawson all of Almyra, Arkansas and many other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life visitation will be held on Sunday, April 3rd, 2011, from 3-5:00 P. M. at Roller England Funeral Home (501) 842-3939 in England, Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to England Senior Citizens Center (501) 842-3591.
