Salt Lake City, Utah - Eva Goldie Rupp Breen, 70, a former Pocatello resident, died Thursday in Salt Lake City. She was born at Blackfoot Sept. 4, 1904, to George Mahlon and Elizabeth Palmer Rupp.
She spent her childhood in the Groveland-Rose area and moved to Pocatello with her family in 1917. She was known as an entertainer in dance and song, and was a lifelong member of the LDS Church.
She married Francis Patrick Breen in Pocatello Nov. 15, 1925. They moved to Salt Lake City in the early 1950's.
Survivors include four sons, Francis P., Robert D., and Terry L. Breen, all of Salt Lake City, and Donald E. Breen of Pocatello; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; brothers Joseph D. and Marvin A. Rupp, Pocatello, and Jack M. Rupp, Reno, Nev., and a sister Mrs. Clyde (Ursula) Richardson, Oakley.
Funeral services were held Saturday at noon, with burial in Salt Lake City.
