WYOMING - Funeral services for Daniel Henry Fishwild, 87, were held at First Presbyterian church in Wyoming Feb. 15. Burial was in the Wyoming cemetery. Mr. Fishwild died Feb. 13 at Jackson county public hospital, Maquoketa. He was born at Wyoming May 3, 1884, son of Reynold and Tabitha Evans Fishwild. He graduated from Wyoming high school and spent two years teaching in the state of Washington. He then worked in a department store in Washington for five years. He returned to Wyoming in 1914 to enter the general store business with his father. He had operated the business for the past 58 years. He was a member of the Lions club, IOOF, a 52-year Mason, Eastern Star and Rebekah lodge. He had served on the Wyoming city council and school board and on the Cemetery Association board. For many years he served as treasurer of the Presbyterian church. He is survived by two brothers, Allison and George, both of Wyoming. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.
