Mrs. Minnie Cochran

Mrs. Minnie A. Cochran, 83, daughter of Oregon pioneers and resident of Sellwood the past 50 years, died Wednesday in a Portland rest home after a lingering illness. Her home was at 8011 S.E. 13th avenue. Mrs. Cochran was born July 27, 1872, at Roseburg, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Agee, who crossed the plains to Oregon in a covered wagon. She leaves two sons, Benjamin W. Cochran and Gerald P. Cochran, both of Portland; a daughter, Mrs. Velma A. Norton, Seattle; a sister, Millie Agee and a brother, Fred Agee, both of Roseburg; and one grandson. Final rites will be Friday at 4 p.m. in the chapel of McGinnis & Wilhelm.
