According to a Jackson County, IN biographical account written in 1886 about one of her sons, Samuel T. Wells, there were 6 children born to Jacob & Sarah. The family is shown but not named in the 1830 & 1840 census. However, Jacob Wells' August 11,1852 probate lists his wife and his children.
