Paul Wesley Allen, 79, of Prosser, passed away on April 24, 2015 at Prosser Memorial Hospital.
He was born on May 29, 1935 in Joplin, Missouri to Clarence and Lillian (Hume) Allen and was raised and educated in Wichita, Kansas. He started his career with Boeing in Wichita and then transferred to Seattle in 1960. He retired from Boeing in 1992.

Paul married Mary Jane Moore in Wichita on November 20, 1955 and the couple raised three sons, Gregory, Jeffrey and Victor. After forty years of marriage, Mary Jane passed away on Mother’s Day 1995. They enjoyed traveling across the country and for many years were snowbirds in Yuma, Arizona. Paul met Carmen (Rotha) Murphy, of Prosser, at a dance in Yuma and the couple were married there on March 14, 1997 and made their home in Prosser. Carmen passed away on September 29, 2007.

Paul was a Past Exalted Ruler of the Federal Way Elks Lodge and enjoyed riding motorcycles and especially enjoyed doing things for other people. He had s special love for kids—and they always loved him in return.

He is survived by his sons, Gregory Allen and his wife, Marilyn of Portland, OR, Jeffrey Allen of Bremerton, WA, and Victor Allen of Auburn, WA; six grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters.

A memorial service was held at the Prosser Senior Center. Memorial contributions may be made to United Cerebral Palsy Association.
