Patricia Ann Shafer, 71, of Grimes, died of heart ailment Wednesday, July 17, 2002 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. .
Patricia Shafer was born in Des Moines and had lived in the Grimes area most of her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, F. Lee Shafer.
She is survived by a daughter, Colleen Bingman of Des Moines; five sons, Dan Tim and Dennis, all of Grimes, Mike of Woodward and Patrick of Des Moines; two sisters, Nancy Baker and Peggy Hotchkiss, both of Granger; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
