She was born to Charles G. Payne Sr. and Betty Payne on May 7, 1952 in Enid and passed away on January 15, 2015 in Enid. She was raised and educated in Enid. She graduated from Enid High School in 1971. She worked for Holdings food for 17 years. She later attended Phillips University. She worked as a receptionist for Dr. Jones and later in business management for Integris Healthcare. She enjoyed scrapbooking and was a member of the Birthday Babes church group.
She is survived by her brothers, Chuck and wife Kathy Payne and Mitch and wife, Linda Payne, both of Enid; Nephews, Chris and Blain; nieces, Toni, Stacy, Tracy, and Molly; great niece, Morgan and great nephews, Ryan and Colin.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials may be given to Emmanuel Christian School with Brown-Cummings serving as custodian of the funds.
