Daughter of David Edward Knight (of Basehor,Leavenworth, KS) and Ina Samantha Olden (of Stockton, San Joaquin, CA). Married Lowell Blaine Cummins July 15, 1911 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Went by her middle name, "Sadie".

Minnie's parents, David Edward Knight and Ina Samantha Olden, were divorced approximately 1898, probably in California. Thereafter, Ina remarried Christian Henry Laiblin and they lived in CA, although Mr. Laiblin did work on the Oakley dam, which is how Lowell and Sadie met. David Edward Knight moved back to Kansas and remarried a lady named Sarah Grace Toms.

Lowell and Sadie's children: Virgil Cummins, Ina Luceil Cummins, Dorothy Deseret Cummins and Russell Edward Cummins. Luceil died at age 16 of a "heart" condition. Sadie also died of heart problems. Luceil is also buried in the Oakley Cemetery. Russell and Virgil are both buried in Arco, Butte County, Idaho. Dorothy Cummins Peterson is buried in Rupert, Idaho.
