She was born to Hyrum and Lenora Severe at Grantsville, Utah May 11 1879. With her parents she came to Oakley in 1881.
She and Edward Hunter were united in marriage in the LDS Temple , Salt Lake City , Utah April 9 1902.
While Mrs. Hunter was often called Nettie , that was not her real name , but rather a nickname derived from her middle name Jeanette.
She is survived by three daughters and five sons. Mrs. Lloyd Critchfield (Kerma), Mrs. Maeser Day (Ruth),Mrs. Joseph Ambler (Vada) Fallen, Nevada, Jesse S., Elmo H., Leroy, Ralph Hunter, of Oakley, and Leonard Robert Hunter, Nampa. Also one brother and one sister. William Severe and Mrs. Cyrus R Hunter , of Oakley, and 17 Grandchildren.
