Fredericksburg- Services will be held at 9:15 a.m. Monday for Henry Becker Sr., 63, a blacksmith here for 46 years, who died Friday.
His establishment on W. Main St. was widely heralded as a typical early-day blacksmith shop, and was featured in many newspaper, magazine and television stories.
Survivors include his wife, the former Cora Burg; two daughters, Mrs. Ray Gonsoski of Van Nuys, Calif., Mrs. James J. Knopp, Fredericksburg; one son, Henry Becker Jr., San Antonio; four sisters, Mrs. Felix Keller, Fredericksburg, Mrs. Emil F. Tatsch, Harper, Mrs. Charles Wilms and Miss Emma Becker, both of San Antonio; and five grandchildren.
Services will be held in Schaetter Funeral Home and St. Mary's Catholic Church.
