Alice is loved, missed and will be remembered forever by all those who
loved her. There were many articles about Alice's Family of origin and
her Father when Alice was younger. They were very active in the community.
Much also written about the Chute Family History in America.
Alice and Arthur helped other family members during some very hard times.
Alice's Sister Lucinda Miner Farmer Baldwin and Alice's nephews and niece
stayed with Alice and Arthur per 1880 Census for Stark Brown Co. MN.
Alice and Arthur married in 1879. They were Newlyweds and took in Family
who needed them. Sister Lucinda was a Widow in 1873
after Sanford Farmer passed away in Brown Co. MN. Lucinda's
daughter Cora Farmer Hopkins had passed away of T. B.
as a young adult in 1885. Lucinda as a Widow had
remarried to a Mr. Baldwin. Alice's Sister Lucinda, Lucinda's
daughter, grand daughter, some sons, other family moved
to Washington State. Alice and Arthur had a very large family.
They lived in Brown Co. MN a long time. Alice and Arthur were
blessed with many children. They had a farm near Hanska MN.
Arthur was also a mail carrier and Alice helped him.
Alice and Arthur lived by many relatives in Brown Co MN.
Alice's Family were Pioneer Settlers in Brown Co. MN.
Many of Alice's Family served in the U.S. Military. Her
Father William Miner was a Union Civil War Veteran.
Alice and Arthur are survived by many grandchildren
and relatives around the USA , including Minnesota, Wisconsin,
California and Washington State.

"A Genealogy and History of the Chute Family in America." Written
in 1894. Published in Salem Massachusetts.
It also included Chute Family in Great Britain and Ireland.
This book sites Arthur as being born in Marblehead
Massachusetts. There was biography info regarding
Arthur and Alice. Arthur was a mail carrier and a prairie
farmer. It appears that Arthur W. Chute and
Thor Smesmo were two Mail Carriers in the rural area of
( Hanska) MN "who still traveled with
horsepower and buggies as they didn't
believe in using horseless carriages."
(1912-1913) Alice was sited as helping
deliver mail if Arthur was on vacation.
Some Others did have cars. Arthur and Alice's
prairie farm was near Hanska, Brown Co. MN.
Hanska Newspaper 1912-1913 article about
