He was born in Woodruff, Utah, August 7, 1928 to Lottie Graham and Jacob Rufi. He was a member of the LDS Church. He was a lifelong resident of Woodruff. He was a farmer and rancher in Rich County, a country he loved. He was a caring brother and friend.He is survived by three sisters: Mrs. Howard K. (Evelyn) Haines, Tooele, Utah; Mrs. Theron No. (Margaret) Gregg, Salt Lake City, Utah; Mrs. Robert L. (Beth) Telford, Montpelier, Idaho; a sister-in-law, Mary Rufi, Evanston, Wyoming; a cousin and special , friend, Cleta Dahl, Salt Lake City, Utah; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Virgil, L. Rufi and Harvey J. Rufi.
Graveside service will be held Friday, March 13, 1992 at 1 p.m. at the Woodruff Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society.
