Funeral services were June 24 at Batesville Presbyterian Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Jim Dollar officiating. Burial was in Batesville Magnolia Cemetery, with Dickins Funeral Home of Batesville in charge.
The widow of the late Taylor H. Maddux, Sr., she leaves one son, Taylor H. Maddux, Jr. of Oxford; two daughters, Mrs. Carolyn Anderson of Kansas City, MO, and Mrs. Genean Davant of Brandon; two brothers, Clarence P. Black of Huntsville, AL, and John H. Black of Grenada; one sister, Mrs. Imogene Black Gordy of Hazelhurst; and 6 grandchildren.
