Funeral Services for Lucy Mae Crockett,80,formerly of Clearsping,were scheduled at 2 p.m. today, Wednesday, April 1 at Spurgeon Funeral Home in Brownstown.
Craig Williams was to officiate and burial was to be in Clearspring Cemetery. Calling hours were until time of service.
Crockett died at Jackson Park Convalescent Center Sunday, March 29.
A member of Clearspring Baptist Church. Crockett was born Aug.18, 1900, in Sneedsville, Tenn., a daughter of the late Clinton and Delia Crumley Hopkins.
She was married to Walter Crockett in Cumberland Gap, Tenn., Feb 21 1926, and he died Aug 30, 1972.
Survivors include six children, James Burchett of Columbus, Harold Burchett of Morristown, Tenn., Leslie Crockett of Seymour, Paul Crockett of Medora, Oscar Crockett of Brownstown and Edith Williams of Seymour; a sister, Anna Greene of Sneedsville, Tenn; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, two sons, a sister and a grandchild.
