Husband is Johan Stephen Christian Braun

The family left Philadelphia and went to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania where they had five more children. Michael Braun & family after several years went to the Carolinas (1749). They most likely traveled from Philadelphia down the Old Philadelphia Road, down the Shenandoah Valley to Roanoke. They then traveled "The Carolina Road", which is through the Maggoty Gap to the Carolinas. Originating as the Great Warrior Path of the Iroquois centuries before, the path was frequently used by the Iroquois before being ceded to the whites in 1744 to become one of the most heavily traveled roads in all Colonial America. This old road was located about where Hwy 220 north out of Greensboro toward Roanoke.

Stephen Christian Braun, Eva Maria Haen Braun and all american born children are buried at Muddy Creek Lutheran Church in upper Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
