MIDWAY | Hallie Lucille Darr Disher, 84, formerly of Midway, died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2003, at Meadowbrook Manor of Clemmons.

The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Welcome, where she was a member and played the organ and piano for many years, by the Rev. Mark Blair. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Disher was born March 26, 1919, in Davidson County to Jacob Milton and Hallie Conrad Darr. Her husband, Fred Keller Disher, to whom she had been married for 63 years, preceded her in death July 8, 2003.

Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Ramona and John Raymond Everhart of Winston-Salem; two grandchildren, Renee Everhart Shelton and her husband, Tommy, of Clemmons and Whitney Ray Everhart of King; a great-grandson, Tripp Shelton; a brother, Olin Milton Darr of Thomasville; and three sisters, Helen Hoover and her husband, Ernest, Dorothy Berrier and her husband, Dewey, and Alma Bowers, all of Thomasville.

The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel.
