Dorothy (Dot) Darr Berrier born November 25, 1921 of Ball Road went home to be with her gracious Lord and Savior Jesus late Monday (Oct. 20, 2014) at Thomasville Medical Center.

She was born to Jacob Milton Darr and Hallie Conrad Darr. She attended Colonial and Main Street Schools and was a tidy homemaker and life long resident of Davidson County. She was a faithful member of Pine Woods UMC, serving in ministries for children, the choir, and many other committees over the years. She will be remembered for her generous spirit in giving to others, playing her piano, gardening, growing flowers, especially pink ones, cooking, and her love for her dogs and as a big Atlanta Braves fan.

Survivors include her husband, Dewey Matthew Berrier of 71 years, daughter; Annette Berrier Guy and husband Bruce; son; Randy Dewey Berrier and wife Carla; grandchildren; Jonathan Guy and wife Angie, Jeremy Guy and wife Jennifer, Brinley Berrier Christner and husband Jeff, Brandon Guy and wife Kathryn, Tyler Berrier and wife Kara; great- grandchildren; Reagan, Colsen, and Sela Guy; Elle and Blake Berrier; Jonah Christner; Caleb and Hannah Guy and Joshua and new baby brother Guy to arrive in November. Dot is also survived by a sister, Helen Darr Hoover.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 24, 2014 at 11:00 AM in Pine Woods United Methodist Church officiated by Rev. Mike Burris with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
