Hilda Scarlette Pegram, 82 passed away on Friday, May 1, 2015, at her home.
Mrs. Pegram's funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Summerfield. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends following the service in the fellowship hall.
A Guilford County native, Mrs. Pegram was born on June 18, 1932, the daughter of the late William A. and Ora Thorpe Scarlette. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Summerfield, the Summerfield Grange, and graduated from Summerfield High School in 1950.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald Pegram, son Alan Donald Pegram, siblings Lucille Pope, Jasper Angel, Marvin Angel, Ivan Angel, and Elizabeth Nelson.
Surviving are her sisters Ila Scarlette Ingold of Greensboro and Gladys Scarlette of Summerfield; a grandson Alan D. Pegram, Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
