T. T. RODES, 88, RETIRED LAWYER, DIES IN PARIS
PARIS, Mo., Dec. 4 (Special to the Monitor-Index)---T. T. Rodes, 88, a retired lawyer, died at 9 o'clock today at McMurry Hospital here following a lingering illness. He underwent an operation at a St. Louis hospital some time ago.
Mr. Rodes is survied by a daughter, Mrs. T. J. Buerk, two sons, William Rodes and Marion Rodes. Mrs. D. F. Carpenter of Moberly is a sister and Dr. E. R. Hickerson and F. B. Harvey Moberly, are nephews.
Until a few years ago Mr. Rodes was a prominent member of the Paris School Board and was for years secretary of that organization. The funeral will be from the Buerk home here at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon and burial will be at Walnut Grove cemetery.
Members of the Carpenter, Hickerson and Harvey families plan to attend the funeral.
