Miss Nellie Van Persen [sic], died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Aart Van Persen [sic], six miles west of Pella, on last Friday, Aug. 19, of appendicitis, after only two days serious sickness. The funeral was held Monday afternoon at the First Refd. church in Pella, Rev. Boer, of Otley, conducting the services and interment in north cemetery.
