On the 1930 Lexington, Rockbridge Co., Virginia census, I found home owners Charles Wm Dunlap, 41; Henrietta C.,D. Heard, 4/ 0/12 They resided on Edmondson Ave., in Lexington.
On the 1940 Lexington, Rockbridge Co., Virginia census, I found home owners and siblings: school teacher Henritta, 54; sister and stenographer _?_ ?_- Lula S., 52; brother and hardware store clerk Charles W., 51 and sister Jennie M., 48, all Virginia born.
Lula Strain Dunlap was born on 11 Aug 1886 in Virginia, to parents O B Dunlap and Kate "Mebane." She was single and last resided at 24 Edmondson Avenue. On 1 Dec 1966, she died at Stonewall Jackson Nursing Home, in Lexington, VA. The informant was Miss Henrietta Dunlap. VA CD #66-033724.
