In 1920, he lived in Kewanee with daughters, Bertha Mandel and Florence Wilson. He was a merchant. Bertha, Jessica, and Elsa attended Knox College in Galesburg. The women married E.V. Mandel, Isadore Myers, and Jacob Szold, respectively.
