Mrs. Florence F. Myers, of Springfield, widow of Albert M. Myers, one of the founders of Myers Brothers store, died today, Friday, at St. John's hospital which she entered Step.t 27 as a medical patient. She was 79 years old.
Mrs. Myers' husband and his two brothers, Louis and Julius, founded the Myers Brothers store nearly 70 years ago. Her husband died in March 1941. She was born Feb. 2, 1876 at Mendota. She was a member of B'rith Sholom temple.
Mrs. Myers is survived by three sons, Stanley C., James E. and Albert M. jr., all of city, and two sisters, Mrs. E. V. (Bertha) Mandel and Mrs. I. F. (Jessica) Myers, both of Kewanee.
